Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle, twinkle, little star,

How I wonder what you are!

Up above the world so high,

Like a diamond in the sky!


When the blazing sun is gone,

When he nothing shines upon,

Then you show your little light,

Twinkle, twinkle, all the night.


Then the traveller in the dark,

Thanks you for your tiny spark,

He could not see which way to go,

If you did not twinkle so.


In the dark blue sky you keep,

And often through my curtains peep,

For you never shut your eye,

Till the sun is in the sky.


As your bright and tiny spark,

Lights the traveller in the dark,—

Though I know not what you are,

Twinkle, twinkle, little star.



The Excitement of Dance

I quietly walk onto stage and get in my stance,

I must remember every step to my dance.

While keeping a bight smile on my face,

My stomach did a flip as did my ruffles of lace.



Midway through the dance I felt calm.

I almost started to sing along to the song.

I saw my mom sitting in the crowd,

There was no way she could have frowned



I was like a flower blooming in spring

My hips would just swing and swing

They are grass in the strong blowing wind

The feel of excitement runs across my skin.



Every beat of the music filled my soul

As the music stopped I felt like I reached my goal.

The excitement of dance can always be reached.

It can fill you from your head to your feet.



The excitement of dance is something great,

It is something almost everyone can create.

You smile at the crowed without a glance,

Now you see the excitement of dance.
